Spray Cooler Plant | 3 Stage Cooling and Product Recovery
Project Snapshot
Shachi played a vital role in establishing a Spray Cooler Plant for a prominent international food (oleo chemicals, edible oils and fatty acids) company. The project aimed to meet the needs of their new Glycerol Monostearate (GMS), Stearic acid and Palmitic acid plant by delivering two Spray Cooler Plants with capacities of 1.5 TPH and 2 TPH, respectively. The cooler’s nozzle design enabled the production of two different particle sizes, which proved to be beneficial for the client.
About the client
The client is one of the largest food companies in the world. Over the years, this company has grown from a small workshop to the oil and fat industry leader.
Challenges
- Provide a turnkey solution for the spray cooler plants.
- Ensure particle size distribution.
- Strict requirements for plant capacity.
- Mechanism to avoid product lump formation.
- Design the plants at a 30-meter height due to space constraints.
