Integrated Fluidised Bed Spray Dryer

An Integrated Fluidised Bed Dryer is a spray drying system where a fluidized bed is built into the lower section of the drying chamber. The spray dryer removes most of the moisture, while the fluidised bed completes final drying, cooling and powder conditioning.

A conventional spray dryer generally completes drying inside the main chamber. An Integrated Fluid Bed Dryer uses multi-stage drying. This gives better control over final moisture, powder temperature, flowability and particle properties.
